On May 20, 2016, the CDC announced that they have concluded their investigation into the outbreak of Salmonella caused by Wonderful Pistachios. A total of 11 people were sickened in the outbreak by either Salmonella Montevideo or Salmonella Senftenberg. Salmonella Causes Raw Pistachio Recall

Recently, Lipari Foods, LLC. issued a recall of several raw pistachio products after testing revealed that they may be contaminated with Salmonella. Salmonella Causes Pistachio Recall

On February 1, Braga Organic Farm issued a voluntary recall for pistachios after concerns arose that the product may be contaminated with Salmonella.
